14 YA Books to Read this Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day seems to mean lots of things for people — it means spending some quality time with your significant other, it means spending some quality time with your friends and for some of us single bookworms, it means spending some quality time with a book.

More specifically, it means reading about a fantastical, perfect fictional person or it means reading about a badass person who doesn’t have time for love or it means reading about a great group of friends.

No matter your preferred trope (or lack of), we think we’ve got a solid list of 14 books you could read this Valentine’s Day. And even though you probably won’t be able to read 14 books in 24 hours, it doesn’t hurt to try to read some of these throughout the month.

Anna and the French Kiss

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

Delirium

Throne of Glass

The Wrath and the Dawn

The Raven Boys

Dividing Eden

The Adoration of Jenna Fox

The Knife of Never Letting Go

This Savage Song

A mix of all kinds of arcs, tropes, characters and emotions. Each book tackles a different problem, a different perspective and each one will leave you yearning for more.

And after seeing this list of books, I’m kind of excited for Valentine’s Day now. I get to spend the night with a few new books.
